Tina turner – we dont need another hero

Proud mary

“We Don’t Need Another Hero” is a song composed by Graham Lyle and Terry Britten and performed by American singer Tina Turner (1939-). It was also the theme song for the 1985 film Mad Max beyond thunderdome. It was released at the time of greatest recognition of the singer, shortly after the appearance of her best known song, “Private dancer” (1984).

There are two versions of the song, one for the movie and another considered the “official” version, used on the radio and in the original recording. The song was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song, as well as a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

Tina turner we don’t need another hero live

Remember Tina Turner’s song ” We Dont need Another Hero ” ? (” We don’t need another Hero ” ) changing the Hero for Leader, sometimes I wonder if today’s society needs Leaders, as it did in the past.  If people consciously or unconsciously look for referents with whom we identify ourselves as representatives of our desires and bearers, real or imaginary, of skills that facilitate us with their leadership, the path towards the realization of desires, achievements and objectives.

I wonder if we want a figure who represents and motivates us, someone who is a model to copy, someone to support in any field: political, religious, sports, business, etc., in whom we can place our trust and give credit in the realization of our goals.

As time went by, the world and people changed, along with the needs and characteristics of leadership. Thus, the different Leadership Ages followed one another. Let’s take a look at some of them:

No necesitamos otra h…

She’s not the first pop star to worry about her musical legacy. And she’s not the first artist to sell the rights to her songs, either. Tina Turner is now parting ways with all her claims on hits like “Private Dancer” or “What’s Love Got to Do with It.”

Turner himself said in a brief statement about the settlement, “As with all artists, protecting my life’s work, my musical heritage, is personal.” He is confident that his work is now in professional and reliable hands.
